Welcome to Basketball Association Karnal ( Affiliated to Haryana State Basketball Association)

Basketball Association Karnal (BAK) is a registered non-profit sports association and the governing body for basketball in Karnal district. BAK is affiliated with the Haryana State Basketball Association (HSBA) and is registered under the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Act, 2012 (Haryana Act No. 1 of 2012).

The association is primarily run by former basketball players and passionate supporters of the game. Our aim is to promote basketball among the youth of Karnal and create opportunities for players to learn, compete, and grow.

BAK motivates, coaches, and selects teams to represent Karnal district at various levels. Through district championships, selection trials, coaching activities, and player development programs, we provide a platform for young players to improve their skills and showcase their talent.

Basketball Association Karnal invites players, parents, coaches, schools, colleges, and basketball lovers to join and support our efforts in helping Karnal’s basketball players achieve recognition at higher levels.

Late Dr. D.S. Daliwal served as the Former President of Basketball Association Karnal (BAK) and made valuable contributions to the promotion and development of basketball in Karnal district.

As an educationist and sports supporter, he encouraged young players to participate in sports with discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship. His guidance and leadership helped strengthen the foundation of Basketball Association Karnal and inspired many players, coaches, and sports lovers connected with the game.

BAK remembers Late Dr. D.S. Daliwal with deep respect and gratitude for his service, vision, and contribution to basketball and youth development in Karnal.
